Area 2 (‘Environment’): Improve and manage resource use to reduce waste and enhance the environmental sustainability of European animal production
As a private business association including SMEs and cooperatives from the Extremadura region, CTAEX would be interested in R&D projects where its associates and previous R&D collaborators could take advantage of new techniques addresing waste management and exploitation. In this sense, main roles to be covered could be those of raw material provision, contioning and characterization as well as final user validation
CTAEX (http://www.ctaex.com/) is a private non-for-profit R&D centre located in the region of Extremadura, south-west of Spain. Backed by an association of SMEs, large companies and co-operatives from the agro-food sector, the activities of CTAEX began in 2001. CTAEX has acquired vast expertise in the development of national and European R&D Projects addresing waste management and exploitation in an eco-friendly approach. Among them:
