As it is known, prevalence of feet and udder problems is quite high in Europe and Turkey. Disinfection has an important role in struggling with these problems. Today, simple apparatuses are used in farms for this purpose. The common problem of these systems used is that they are manually operated. Therefore, human-induced negligence and contamination risk are very high. For the analysis of current situation, enterprises with different capacities were visited, the products used were examined, and producers were interviewed. Within the scope of the project; studies for developing and testing the disinfection system fighting with problems contaminated through feet and udder lesions in cattle and causing great losses by rapidly spreading within the enterprise as well as obtaining a prototype that can be commercialized are conducted. The most important thing to be considered at first within the design will be taking physiology and well-being of the animal into consideration. Human induced mistakes will be tried to minimize by simply automizing the system. The ratio of disinfectant/water, water temperature and use of mobility will be brought under control by using a software with quite simple interface in order to ensure efficiency of disinfectants used for disinfection process. Properties such as saving on time, a more efficient disinfection application, product’s self cleaning, and being more durable are aimed for the prototype in order to reveal a more innovative and competitive product. Our target group is all cattle breeding enterprises, primarily enterprises for dairy cattle that have great capacity of breeding in Turkey and Europe. It is planned to meet different producers in stages of design and forming the prototype. After the prototype is formed, it will be tried in a suitable enterprise, microbiological and surgical examinations and evaluation of efficiency will be performed. When the product is completed as it is planned, it will meet a significant technological deficiency. It is aimed to complete the project within totally 20 months as making the design for 6 months, preparing the prototype for 6 months, installation and evaluation processes and preparation of reports for 8 months.
